Agreement concerning the Adoption of Harmonized Technical United Nations Regulations for Wheeled Vehicles, Equipment and Parts which can be Fitted and/or be Used on Wheeled Vehicles and the Conditions for Reciprocal Recognition of Approvals Granted on the Basis of these United Nations Regulations (Revision 3)

The 1958 Agreement on the Adoption of Harmonized Technical United Nations Regulations for Wheeled Vehicles, Equipment and Parts which can be Fitted and/or be Used on Wheeled Vehicles and the Conditions for Reciprocal Recognition of Approvals Granted on the Basis of these United Nations Regulations (Revision 3) provides in its Article 2, para. 2 and Schedule 2, Part one, para 3.1 the requirements for Contracting Parties to notify their entrusted Type Approval Authorities and designated Technical Services.

This application presents the information (publicly available) as available to the secretariat, concerning the situation of the 1958. The lists of Type Approval Authorities and Technical Services are updated by their respective governments, Parties to the 1958 Agreement. For this purpose, each country shall designate a Single Person Of Contact for the exchange of information with the UNECE secretariat through this application.

The Single Person of Contact is expected to:

• Provide the name and the contact data of the Type Approval Authorities and Technical Services nominated by his/her Country,
• Indicate for which UN Regulation(s) the Type Approval Authorities and Technical Services are nominated By direct entry into the online application.
